Our team consists of both audiologists and hearing aid practitioners. Here is a brief overview of both:

Audiologists

When compared to other roles in hearing health care, audiologists are typically backed by the most education. Audiologists usually have either a masters or doctorate in the field of audiology for a total of 6 to 9 years of education. Audiologists are licensed and trained to offer:

  • Comprehensive audiological evaluations – how you hear and listen from the ear to the brain
  • Hearing care for all ages, from infants to seniors
  • Balance/dizziness disorder testing
  • Design, selection, and fitting of listening devices
  • Rehabilitation therapy for hearing disorders
  • And much more

Hearing aid practitioners

In Alberta, hearing aid practitioners have a two year college diploma and are Board Certified. Hearing aid practitioners are licensed and trained to offer:

  • Comprehensive audiological evaluations – how you hear and listen from the ear to the brain
  • Hearing care for all all adults, ages 18 and above
  • Design, selection, and fitting of listening devices
  • Rehabilitation therapy for hearing loss

Our friendly, cohesive team of Audiologists and Hearing Aid Practitioners offers professional hearing care for all ages, and we are one of the few pediatric clinics around.
